How Competitive Development works

1

Foundations

Beginner levels focus on proper technique in all strokes, treading water, floating and safety skills.

2

Benchmarks

Stroke Development

Stroke Development is for swimmers ages 5 to 16 and refines all four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. Coaches give detailed feedback and drills on stroke mechanics, working on form, efficiency and speed.

It suits swimmers preparing for a competitive team, and swimmers who want better technique without joining one. Classes are 45 minutes, in a group of up to 6 or as private sessions.
