Drop-In Swim Lessons in North Charleston
Drop-In Swim Lessons in North Charleston
A single lesson with no registration fee, at the Aquatic Center or the Sports Complex in Park Circle.
Register your swimmer →Committing to a term of lessons before you have met the instructor or seen the pool is a lot to ask. Drop-in swim lessons exist for that. You book one lesson, you see how your swimmer gets on, and you decide afterwards.
And the fee is not wasted if you enroll
Drop-in lessons have no registration fee. If you enroll afterwards, the drop-in fee goes toward your first lesson.
How a drop-in works
Book a single lesson
There is no registration fee to attend a drop-in lesson. Registration is only required if you decide to enroll in our ongoing swim program.
Come to the pool
Choose the North Charleston pool that suits you. Both of our indoor pools are in North Charleston.
Decide afterwards
If you enroll, the drop-in fee goes toward your first lesson. If you do not, that is genuinely fine.
A drop-in does not sign you up for anything. Tell us about your swimmer and our team will get you scheduled.

Who a drop-in suits
- Families new to swim lessons who want to see one before committing
- Swimmers who are nervous, where a single lesson is a smaller ask
- Visitors in Charleston for a short stay
- Parents who are not sure which level their swimmer belongs in
If it is the level question holding you up, our levels are explained here, and you can also just tell us about your swimmer and we will recommend one. If your swimmer is anxious about the water, helping a fearful child in water is worth reading first.
Group or private
Drop-in lessons are available as group or private sessions. Group drop-ins have up to 6 swimmers per instructor, and private drop-ins are 1 on 1 in 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions. Private vs group swim lessons covers which tends to suit whom.
Our instructors are lifeguard certified, CPR and first aid certified, and background checked. Our founder has more than 30 years of aquatics experience.
